It Ain't Over

I flew into Atlanta, rented a car to drive to my mom's home in Gadsden , AL.  Since I hadn't had breakfast, I stopped into a Georgia Waffle House just outside of Atlanta for a pecan waffle.  OK -- here's my confession:  after living in the south for 25 years, I like eating at Waffle House and What-a-Burger!  Unfortunately, my yankee roots come out when I tell them to hold the grits and put mayo instead of mustard on the burger!  Anyhow, this particular Waffle House has a juke box with a black gospel selection.  Evidently the waitresses like the black gospel option becuase a soul-ful rendition of IT AIN'T OVER TILL GOD SAYS I'TS OVER began playing.  I'm thinking, this can only happen in the South -- can't imagine a northern restuarant playing this song!  I noticed that nearly every waitress was singing along.  I decided to join them.  What a great reminder:  It ain't over till God says it's over!  Be encouraged!
